Hello!  My name is Carolyn Friesen.  I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and have been working in Omaha for the past 20 years.  I received my training under Dr. H.C. Weber at the Midwest School of Massage.  I also studied nursing at Methodist School of Nursing and nutrition at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

My interest in healthcare began when I was young.  A few injuries here, a couple of stitches there and one major stay in the hospital at age 11 from a snow mobile accident and I became fascinated with the human body!  Sports injuries in high school and college took me further into the business of rehabilitation and the body's ability to recover and heal.

I'm sure all of this played a part in my eventually choosing nursing school.  While working in the hospital I realized that many of my patients were there for reasons that could have been avoided!  My focus then changed to nutrition studies and ultimately to massage and bodywork.  Though crisis care is certainly needed, preventative healthcare is what makes sense to me!  It certainly saves more "cents", as well!

I also suffered from migraine headaches for over 14 years.  Through massage and bodywork I have been migraine-free since 1998!  What a blessing this has been to me! 

It is my pleasure to now be helping others on their quest for optimal health!
